Ichneumon haemorrhoicus ssp crassigena

This creature arrested my attention down in the orchard. It was quite active but landed on various apple leaves to allow me to take some pictures.
I recognised it as an ichneumon wasp as one of its cousins appeared in the studio last year. Having scoured the interweb I am pretty certain this is Ichneumon haemorrhoicus ssp crassigena. Not the prettiest of names, but there we are, it makes up for it with its looks.
